Winner at TiE Pune Women's Global Pitch Competition

The TiE Global Women Initiative program aims to foster and encourage women entrepreneurship through mentoring, networking, education and funding to create a strong women entrepreneurial community. Since its initiation 3 years ago, this global contest witnessed a record participation of 61 chapters across the globe in 2023.

From the Pune Chapter, Volar Alta was declared the TiE Pune Global Pitch Competition Chapter Winner by a panel of four eminent judges: Ankita Vashisht founder of StrongHer Ventures; Arvind Chinchure, board member of Deshpande Start-ups; Madhukar Bhatia, managing partner of Pentathlon Ventures; and Pravin Bhagwat, founder of 14 Trees Foundation.

This achievement makes Volar Alta a contender for the Global Pitch Competition to be held in Singapore in January 2024.
