When we applied for the Maruti Suzuki Incubation Program, we knew we were stepping into something meaningful - but we couldn’t have imagined the scale, the structure, and the sheer support we’d experience over the next few months.
Today, as winners of Cohort 3, we’re thrilled to share what made this journey truly special for Volar Alta - and why it marks not just a win, but the beginning of a powerful co-creation journey with one of India’s most iconic companies.
A Program that is structured, insightful, and collaborative
Selected from over 400 startups across India, Volar Alta was chosen for its high-impact drone and AI solutions tackling complex logistical challenges in the automotive sector.
What set the Maruti Suzuki Incubation Program apart was its depth and structure. This wasn’t about just mentorship or pitch days - it was about solving real problems alongside real business teams.
Over three months, we worked directly with Maruti Suzuki’s internal teams to:
Co-define the problem statement
Validate assumptions on the ground
Refine our solution collaboratively
Execute a business-aligned POC
Most programs stop at advice. This one went further - giving us direct access to stakeholders, real challenges, and the space to build something that actually works.
“I am beyond grateful for the opportunity, the learnings, and the overall grandeur of this program. Winning Cohort 3 is a proud milestone for us - but honestly, the journey itself was the real reward. What stood out most was the unwavering support from the Maruti Suzuki team, especially when things didn’t go as planned. When our POC site suddenly shifted from a green zone to a red zone, it could have thrown everything off - but instead of panic, we were met with calm, flexibility, and real partnership. That kind of culture is rare - and truly admirable.” - Niharika Kolte Alekar, Founder, Volar Alta
A special shoutout to Drishti San, Saibal San, Aditya San, Rahul San, and the business teams - your support during those moments spoke volumes about the culture at MSIL. This is a company that doesn’t just back innovation - they stand by their partners.
What Comes Next: From Pitch to Implementation
Winning the challenge isn’t the end - it’s the beginning of an active partnership with Maruti Suzuki. We are now working closely with their teams to implement drone-based solutions across their plants and warehouses. This is aligned with their long-term vision to bring next-gen technology into core industrial operations - and we’re grateful to be part of that journey.
Gratitude to our forever supporters & partners!
